The Balcones Heights Jazz Festival has been captivating South Texas jazz fans for more than 14 years. The free concert series takes place each July and August, on Friday evenings at the spectacular outdoor Amphitheater at Crossroads Mall.

Previous headliners include Warren Hill, Slim Man, Michael Ward, Lara & Reyes. Steve Oliver, Joseph Vincelli, and a stellar roster of local and regional performers, including Joe Posada, Harry Brun and the Latin Playerz, and The Jon Barry Project.

Outdoor seating on the amphitheatre lawn is free on a first-come, first-served basis. Typically jazz fans begin staking their spots with blankets and lawn chairs the morning of each concert. Food and beverages are available for purchase at a variety of booths, as well asthe adjacent Food Court inside Crossroads Mall.
